When Worlds Collide [OPEN TO ALL]

Three of Japan's greatest nobodies have gotten together and issued a challenge to the entire country: All who are willing, come and face these three warriors in battle. They welcome anyone and everyone to try and defeat their combined might!

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

A flyer was stuck on Ryunosuke's face while he was running around the marketplace. Worse of it, he was chasing a thug for stealing the money bag of a merchant across the street when that happened. Before he had removed the flyer from his face, he bumped towards a woman passing towards the intersection of the alley where Ryunosuke was running. But of all the places Ryunosuke had bumped, he had bumped on the woman with his face in between the breasts of the woman. That made the woman shriek, and then...

"So that was the reason for this," Ryunosuke said to the two people who sat with him on the same bench, pointing at the red hand mark on his right cheek with his right hand, while clenching his left hand. "I swear, I'll make those three people pay for making me suffer like this!"

[Constantine Lawrence]

A flyer was stuck on Constantine's face while he was out fishing in the Seto Sea. It had seemed that the flyer had came from a larger ship that passed by Constantine's boat. But the effect of the flyer was more important than its source: at the course of him removing the flyer from his face, he fell overboard from his boat. But beneath the sea lied another problem: there was a shark passing by under the boat when it saw Constantine struggling, and it took fancy of him! The great chase began; Constantine swam towards the shore with all of his strength, while the shark was chasing him, and there had been some close calls as the shark had bitten off some of Constantine's lower clothing. He managed to get to the shore, and was about to leave from there when he came across the owner of the boat, and, seeing that the boat was gone...

"This is what happened to me," Constantine said to the two people sitting with him on the same bench, while pointing at his black-eye. Hearing of the other man's tale, he said, "When you'll get revenge on those three, you're not alone." He was somewhat furious as he said those words, grasping his flute tightly.

[Katsurayama Haruyuki]

A male, which could be passed for a woman due to his looks and the way he dresses, was chased by thugs in Shinano one fine day in the morning. He was about to make a left turn to evade the thugs when he stepped on a flyer, making him slip. When he managed to stand up, he was surrounded by the thugs, which captured him and dragged him towards a secluded place in the market. There he was forced by the thugs who seemed to mistake him for a woman. But when they saw his genitals when his hakama was pulled down, the thugs became angry and...

"And so that's my story," Haruyuki said to the two people who sat with him on the same bench. But he didn't point at his bruises, since there are too many of them. "Those three would really pay for what they have done! What say you, the three of us suffered all of the same fate because of some flyer that they have spread all across the land, what if the three of us team up against those people?"

[Morei Haji]

"A royal rumble, huh?"

I stood there, cloak flapping in the wind as I waited before our destination. The border of Totomi, Takehiro's territory. And yet, something in me told me this would be the battle of a lifetime, especially with the three who stood beside me.

"What do you guys think? Ready?"

Assuming everything was a go, we'd proceed inwards to join this little fray.

[Morei Hidenori]

Hidenori stood there, swinging his zanbato onto his shoulder as he walked alongside his little brother.

"I don't know. Since we're all reunited in such an underwhelming way, I would consider this a non-canon arc for all of us! You didn't even know we were alive!"

The tall man walked with his three companions, ready to back his brother up at a moment's notice.

[Morei Hideyasu]

- Hideyasu sighed. Reuniting with his two brothers just in time for some crazed royal rumble? Of course this was a non-canon episode.

"The real reunion will happen someday."

- His hand on his katana, he approached their destination alongside the other three. Takehiro was there, meaning Hideyasu had to be at his very best for the entire battle if he even wanted to survive. He guessed it was a no holding back sort of ordeal.

"For now... I shall enjoy this."

[Chosokabe Nanami]

~* Nanami wanted along with the other three, hands on her cannons and just itching to fire at something.

"I don't really know any of you guys, but..." She looked at Haji. "This dude did craft and give me my cannons without ever meeting me! I suppose a little non-canonical fun is good now and then!"

~* She grinned largely as she approached the battle with the rest of them.

~* Haji was giving them all weird glances... what the heck was non-canon?

[Brandt Solveig]

And he was here. Brandt could feel the coming battle in his blood. He too had stumbled upon a flyer and his everlasting lust for battled pulled him to this location. Maybe it was partly curiosity, for he had heard great rumors of excellent warriors inhabiting this region. And as Brandt kneeled upon a sloping hill overlooking the soon-to-be battlefield, he could almost feel the energies of war building.

Sharp eyes would watch cautiously for the moment, feeling the warmth of sun at it back. He would use this position to his advantage, because in the heat of battle all was fair, and one would have to use any advantage given.

The clash ahead may end up a silent whisper heard by few, but the potential for something legendary was quite high. The Sword of The House of Strength would show his might to the world.

[Sanada Yukimura]

"A battle royale huh? Takehiro-san, you've really outdone yourself..."

A light breeze blowing his headband behind him, with his black cloak hiding his clothing and armor beneath, occasionally revealing the black helmet he carried underneath his arm, he would turn to his companion beside him as they stood at the border of Totomi and Shinano, Takehiro's territory.

"What do you think? Are you ready?"

If everything was a go, placing his helmet on, Yukimura would lead the way into the fray, his spear at the ready.

[Ikeda Keisuke]

Standing beside the man the One-Eyed Dragon, his Lord Date Masamune deemed worthy of a rival, Keisuke could only grin back, his arms resting on top of his giant ass war hammer that was draped across his shoulders.

"Considering Kyoya-san also issued this challenge, of course I'm ready! Lead the way the Fire Dragon."

Following after General Sanada Yukimura into the fray, Keisuke was going to have some fun with this.

[Kyoya Naotora]

"Looks like we've got quite the crowd forming, eh?" Naotora remarked, sitting atop her ball-and-chain. As she saw the warriors approach, she would crack her neck and stand to her feet. A grin crossed her lips, her hands tightening around the chain as she rose it overhead. The triple-ball-and-chain whirled above her menacingly, as her welcome to the warriors.

"Brave warriors of Nippon," she began. "May all who wish to test their mettle face me!"

[Tokugawa Iemasa]

"Sure does... this should be fun."

Iemasa sighed, standing to his feet. He would pat Naotora on the shoulder before turning around and heading to the back, past Takehiro. He gave each of his fellow warriors a nod, before hopping up into a tree and taking aim at the crowd. Right now, the main conflict would be on Naotora, and his main goal would be to protect her.

"Let's rock."

[Amakusa Takehiro]

As Naotora asserted her strength, Takehiro couldn't help but chuckle. It seemed the crowd had almost no idea what they were getting into, approaching a warrior so fierce as her without fear. But, of course, this was the reason behind the challenge. They wanted to see just who the greatest warriors in Japan happened to be.

"You got this, Nao. Even I'd be scared to fight you."

Another chuckle followed, before he leaped high into the air and landed atop a large stone, just between Iemasa and Naotora. The two would find themselves being covered in a shield of dark energy, to protect them from Haji's light and projectiles. Drawing his crossbow, the man armed it with two hallucinogenic bolts, and aimed out at the crowd.

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou ran as fast as he could, kicking up dust and dirt behind him as he tore along the country side to where the leaflet had said. He hadn't believed it when he saw it, three people he knew putting forth a challenge like this was just to hard to resist. Each one he knew to be a beast on the battlefield, either for seeing them fight or fighting them. Finally Shou arrived a crowd having formed and Naotaro already swinging her giant weapon above her head ready to go.

"Did you guys have to pick the middle of nowhere. I just had to run 5 miles to get here, my horse bloody well gave out." Shou would say looking around at everyone. Before looking back at those who had made the challenge. "Though I'm good to go." Shou would almost shout flicking three blades into his left hand and drawing his demonic sword in his right. "No grappling this time Amakusa, I'm letting you get close." Shou would add remembering his fight against the man before. He was glad to have his weapons with him.

[Oda Nobunaga]

[OoC: GMing here will be simple. At random times, environmental conditions will change, and these could help or hinder the challengers and their opponents. There will be no particular post order, but there will be a few guidelines:

1) One post per round
2) All opponents post first, challengers post at the end of the round
3) Environmental conditions MUST be adhered to when addressed
4) All opponents must focus their efforts against the challengers.

Also, more opponents may hop in at any time. Just post before the challengers. Have fun!]

Those who answered the call would find they were now in a barren area, any trees or stones that would be found would be those behind Naotora. Everything else was flat plains. Clouds were beginning to gather overhead.

[Constantine Lawrence]

"So this would be the place." Constantine looked at his surroundings; it was a barren wasteland with no trees except that one behind the woman bearing the multiple morning stars. The opposing group also had a lot of boulders on their side, giving them a terrain advantage. He then watched as the man in the middle load his large crossbow with... wait, two bolts?

"Damn, this is bad," Constantine muttered as he took his stance again, keeping guard of what will happen. When the middle man fires his bolts, Constantine will try to parry them, as much as possible, back towards the group that fired them. When someone would attack, Constantine would engage him/her as much as possible, as long as he could.

[Katsurayama Haruyuki]

Glancing across his surroundings, Haruyuki felt something was odd. They had selected the place of battle, and here they were, enjoying the terrain where they took position. They were really serious that they could take on all of them at once. Seeing Constantine activated his stance, and it seems that it was on the defensive.

'You wanted to fight a delaying battle, eh? I'll join you," Haruyuki thought, as he put his hands on his side, ready to draw the katana in case Constantine gets attacked. When Constantine would engage an enemy, Haruyuki would draw his katana and cut down the enemy on his/her side, continuing to wear him down until he would be the object of attacks, where he would withdraw for a bit before attacking again.

[Yamabara Shou]

(OOC: Activating Yamabara Flying Talons - created shadows last until the end of my next post.)

As other seemed to square of ready for the battle Shou would enter his own little world. His eyes would focus intently on Naotora, examining her form and the swing of her mighty weapon above his head. Improved focus picking out the perfect time in her swing to put a plan of attack into action. If she wasn't taken down quickly she could wreak the group of them quickly. Clenching his fingers Shou would press the medallions on handles of his throwing daggers. Shou would throw daggers quickly followed by his demonic sword while he still had the chance to aim. 

The daggers fly ahead of the sword but downward, striking the ground sudden shadowy darkness would spring up. Blocking the flight path of the sword as it got close. Turing his head, while sliding more daggers into his left hand Shou would shout at one of the people on there side he knew. "ICHIMARU SHOOT NAO." He would shout at Ichimaru, knowing how good the gunner was from seeing his skill in the past. His sword and the darkness mealy a distraction, for Ichimaru to take a possibly crippling shot while the women couldn't see them as clearly. "GET READY." Shou would shouted to the rest of them, pulling up a claw of daggers for defence in his left hand, right hand ready to catch his sword when it returned. 

[Morei Haji]

Arriving at the scene of the battle, I walked ahead of my brothers and Nanami, examining the scene. A barren wasteland, where the terrain advantage would lie in Takehiro's side. Our first opponent was a woman with an exceptionally scary weapon, and I gulped. She was swinging that thing awfully fast.

Recognizing two faces I knew, I smiled. Shou was in the middle of his attack, and was signaling to Ryunosuke to fire his weapon. This gave me an idea. I ran up to the howitzer that Ryunosuke was using. Before he would fire, I'd place my hand on it, channeling my light energy into it. This would ensure that Ryunosuke's attack would be coated in light energy for some extra BOOM! This would hopefully be enough to break through Takehiro's own dark shield around them.

"Ichimura-san, Yamabara-san, it's a pleasure." I noted, placing my demon's mask on with my other hand.

[Chosokabe Nanami]

"Ahoy, mateys!"

~* Nanami would take her place beside Constantine and Haruyuki. Her cannons at the ready, she would fire whenever an opening presented itself. Meanwhile, if Takehiro tried to fire any bolts at her (a waste of a bolt though), she would do her best to RUUUUUN LIIIIKE HEEEEELLLLLL!!!

"FIRE AWAY!"

[Morei Hidenori]

"Now, I know I'm not the smartest, but..."

There would be no redeeming moment of intellectualism whatsoever. Hidenori would charge in from the side, swinging his zanbato over his head before gripping it in both hands, ready to strike down at Naotora whenever he got within striking distance. That ball and chain was looking awfully scary up close.

[Morei Hideyasu]

"Hidenori, you idiot!"

- Hideyasu would rush in after his brother, cursing his stupidity. He had to back him up, or those balls and chains could do some serious damage to him. Deciding to take Naotora's other side, Hideyasu would come in, attempting to help his brother flank her and swing their weapons at her from either side. Unlike Hidenori, he'd attempt to dodge anything that would come at him.

[Brandt Solveig]

Brandt's blood was beginning to pump as the first wave of the assault began. Brandt was not lumped in with the rest of them, instead staying far off to their right. Hid pale eyes would watch the battle begin to unfold, and before long his own body would begin to tremble. Not out of fear, but out of excitement for the battle to come.

He would begin to move forward, still far off to the right. Pulling his sword from its sheath, he would grasp and lift it with his left arm as he ran, allowing the flat side to act as a shield to deflect any unwanted projectiles. His goal would not be to attack this round, instead to simple swoop around and flank the four warriors that called them here today.

I will show them a bloodlust unlike any other! From The House of Strength, you will feel my wrath!

[Sanada Yukimura]

Arriving at the scene of the battle royale, Yukimura would grin before immediately engulfing himself in fire... then summon a large pillar of fire underneath the tree Iemasa was currently perched in, to try and take the gunner out first, as he was 99% sure Takehiro's dark energy shield could not protect them from attacks coming from underground. And considering he had given no indication of whom he was targeting, it would be difficult for Iemasa to react to the fire pillar.

He'd also form a large ring of fire surrounding Keisuke, to protect him, before firing a barrage of fire blasts at the dark energy shield, to try and aid the others in cracking and breaking the shield apart.
